Rethinking Schools image.Join teachers Bill Bigelow and Tim Swinehart for a lively workshop that features a role play activity that highlights themes in Naomi Klein's book This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. the Climate. We'll discuss how teachers and activists can collaborate to develop more consciousness about the climate crisis and steps we can take to address it.

We'll be meeting in the Fellowship Hall at the Central Lutheran Church, 1820 NE 21st Ave. in Portland from 4 to 6pm.

Bill Bigelow taught high school social studies in Portland for almost 30 years. He is the curriculum editor of Rethinking Schools magazine and co-director of the Zinn Education Project.
