General Meeting Q3: September 2017
...and Leadership Council!
**Please scroll down to RSVP**
Building a movement means gathering! Arrive by 2:30 for Leadership Council, or by 3:45 for General Meeting!
Everyone who is involved with 350PDX in any way is invited to attend the General Meeting. This meeting is a combination of both Leadership Council and General Meeting. It's designed so that folks can attend the first 2/3 for a complete Leadership Council, or the last 2/3 for a complete General Meeting. The overlapping part in the middle will be mostly team updates and highlights, which are relevant to both meetings. Each of the 16 teams can prep about 4 minutes of celebrations of their work to share with everyone, as well as challenges you've faced or things you've learned and want to share.
What is Leadership Council? 2-2:30pm
Haven't been to a Leadership Council meeting yet? Come spend a short time learning what this coordination space is for and how to participate. Encouraged for new attendees. *optional
Leadership Council Part 1: 2:30-3:30pm
One representative from each team sits on the Leadership Council, and all other team members and co-leads are encouraged to attend as well. Among a handful of other items, we'll be starting the Strategic Planning process to determine our direction in 2018.
Short break 3:30-3:45pm
Leadership Council Part 2 & General Meeting Part 1: Team Updates 3:45pm-4:45pm

Powerpoints or other posters are welcome, please email Maya firstname.lastname@example.org with "General Meeting" in the subject line to let me know
Short break 4:45-5pm
General Meeting Part 2: Workshops 5-6pm
These 30-min workshops are hands-on sessions led by other teams or people in the organization that are excited to share things that are working, and get you or your team started. Learn how SE team has outreached to a Neighborhood Association, how State Legislation and SW have been writing postcards to elected officials, write a blog post about your climate activism in the last month, and more. *bring paper, a writing implement, and a laptop if you can, to be ready to participate.
