We’re Getting Close: Let’s Enact Portland’s Exceptional Fossil Fuel Policy Without Exceptions!
We came together last November when Portland passed a historic resolution to “actively oppose expansion of infrastructure whose primary purpose is transporting or storing fossil fuels in or through Portland or adjacent waterways.”
Now, City staff are proposing actual code changes that would translate the City’s sweeping resolution into binding land use rules, and we can help ensure that the City’s concrete action matches the earnest intent of Portland’s City Council to address our climate crisis.
Join us at the public hearing on September 13th!
